“We are Virginia Tech!”

Not “Virginia Tech University.”

Katie Couric, the local Fox station, and at least one blog have referred to us as Virginia Tech University. Stop that, dammit! We are Virginia Tech. Don’t believe us? Just ask Nikki Giovanni, or any Tech student.

Come on. It’s time for the news media and several others to get their heads out of (fill in the blank yourself if you’d like) and get our name right!

Jeepers, Katie. As a Wahoo, you certainly should know better.
