The 33rd stone

Under April 22’s posting, we mentioned that there Virginia Tech had added a 33rd stone to the memorial in front of Burruss. Yesterday’s Roanoke Times offers that it was not VT who had put out that stone, but Ms Katelynn Johnson, a student at VT. Here’s the article.

Good for Ms Johnson, for standing up for what she believes and for taking action accordingly.

We’re not sure we would have even thought to put out the 33rd stone. Not out of malice or hatred, but simply because we believed there were 32 victims and one killer.
