What? Do journalists just make sh!# up? It appears that at least one at Creators Syndicate does. Ms Susan Estrich appears not to have the first doggoned clue what she’s talking about. Interestingly, the “Write the Author” feature on Creators Syndicate’s site is non-functional tonight, which means I can’t get a message to her with the fact.
We found this on massbackwards, and it’s worth re-posting.
Fact: “Peter O” was not shot dead. For some time he was housed at the New River Valley Correctional Center in Dublin, Virginia awaiting judgment on whether or not he was competent to stand trial. He remains incarcerated (at Red Onion Correctional Center, I believe) and our tax dollars are spent making sure he has three hots and a cot. Meanwhile, my wife’s best friend and two others are dead and three families grieve.
