- Vacation: a wonderful thing.
- Beach-sitting on Grand Cayman, zip-line fun on Isla Roatan, cave tubing in Belize, and touring the ruins in Costa Maya.
- Having time to sit on deck, sip a drink, enjoy the sun, work on my tan, and finish a novel I’d started a while back.
- Time with Mrs…. All to myself.
- Opportunity for Mrs. to fully unwind, relaxing without the routine pressures.
- Prank at work: convincing our sales specialist that I’m fully colorblind. Can’t believe she fell for it so quickly… so I had to run with it. Wonder how long I can ride this train?
- Great TV fun! The Scrubs musical (repeat) is on tonight.
- Like You And Me, But Better: radar-equipped cruiser catching up to and blowing by me in a 35-mph zone… no lights, no noise, no evident purpose. I’m on the motorcycle, working to maintain the 35 and not to arouse undue attention… Five-O passes me from well behind… for what appears to be a U-turn… I get up to 45, attempting to pace The Man… and can’t keep up.
- Today’s weather: beautiful.
- The shotgun: still in need of a thorough cleaning. Glad to have a three-day weekend coming up.
- Also in need of cleaning: both cars, the motorcycle, and the mountain bike. Oh, and my desk.
- Random cutie: Blonde mom on Dodge Caravan TV commercial.
- Oh, good grief: Rosie’s still on TV. Can’t The Donald use some of his NYC connections (and dollars) to make her go away?
- More to come….
